Katya Bychkova is a New York based Marketing professional and entrepreneur with over 10 years’ experience in journalism and PR. In 2013, Ms. Bychkova brought her skills and connections into an international art contest The Art Sprinter designed to help artists from all over the world present their artistic visions to a global audience.

Prior to moving to New York in 2008, Katya studied Journalism at the Moscow State University, where she was admitted as a winner of the Journalism competition organized by the International Confederation of Journalists’ Unions. Her first years in the US, Katya worked as a reporter and then as a Managing Editor for the Russian-American newspaper Novoye Russkoye Slovo. In 2012 she started to work for the award-winning law firm Wilk Auslander LLP, where she handled marketing responsibilities.

Among previous art projects produced by Ms. Bychkova was the international art competition ‘NY Art Marathon,’ in 2011. This competition was also designed to help young artists from all over the world get exposure. The competition culminated with a well- received opening in New York City at the Alexandre Gertsman Contemporary Art Gallery. The winner of the competition, New York based artist Carrie Elston Tunick, won a $3,000 cash prize for her installation “Float.” Her artwork received great reviews by art critics and media.

Ms. Bychkova is also affiliated with StyleSprinter Blog, where she documents what happens in her eventful life, from outfit choices to parties and everything in between. One of the people that helps Katya on her creative journey is a famous fashion photographer Vital Agibalow. She also supports the charity organizations Group For The East End and INFORM, and Kinofest NYC, a film festival that celebrates independent cinema from post-soviet countries. She is organizing various events in New York, including the anniversary concert for the world-know cellist Borislav Strulev in the Birdland Jazz Club amongst other endeavors.
