2013-2014 — Art Sprinter exhibition in Water Mill (Hamptons)

Ian Healy, Elyse Hradecky, KatyaThe Art Sprinter exhibition and opening reception took place on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Water Mill Square Gallery. Thirteen artists from all over the world who were selected by the competition jury as finalists have presented their best pieces for the art critics and Hamptons art lovers. During the award ceremony, Bravo TV star Amy Laurent has announced three winners of the contest: New York Academy of Art student Zoe Sua Kay received a Third Prize Award for her oil of canvas series united by the name “PBS”. Second Place award went to Los Angeles to the art teacher and artist Peter Walker, who has submitted for the contest pencil on paper portraits of the homeless people. The main prize of the contest was awarded to Karen KK Clardy from South Carolina for her series of the hip-hop celebrities.

Bart Keijsers Koning_The Art SprinterBart Keijsers Koning, the curator and co-owner of the New York based LMAKprojects gallery. He has exhibited and curated in the Netherlands and the US, and managed various galleries.
Katerina Duarte The Art SprinterKaterina I. Duarte, Esq., the principal attorney and founder of the Law Office of Katerina I. Duarte. Katerina’s firm focuses on representing those in the arts, including the fashion industry and fine arts.

2010-2011 — NY Art Marathon exhibition in SoHo (New york)

278974_1681435935706_2775962_oThe NY Art Marathon opening reception took place on July 14, 2011 at the Alexandre Gertsman art gallery. First Place Prize has been awarded to Carrie Elston Tunick from New York for her installation “Float” (2010). The artist received a $3,000 cash prize from the organizers. Famed Russian pianist, Maxim Anikushin, entertained visitors to the gallery during the NYAM reception. Anikushin made his Carnegie Hall debut in 1999 and continues to perform for the masses. Lucky for our guests, we were included in the masses on this evening. He is no stranger to the art world as he is the grandson of 88-year-old Russian artist, Sonya Yankovskaya.

Finalists: Aveli (New Jersey, US), Greg Allum (Brighton, UK), Christina Dallas (New York, NY), Yeji Jun (Seoul, South Korea), Lev Gorn (New York, NY), Yevgeniy Gorodetsky (Brooklyn, NY), Alessandro Lonati (Milan, Italy), Dorothy Melander-Dayton (London, UK), Jonna Pedersen (Copenhagen, Denmark), and Elizabeth Woodward (Beverly, MA).

Vitaly Komar, a Russian born artist who is represented at some of world’s best museums and private art collections, and has been included in “100 Best Artists of the 20th Century.”
David Gibson, a New York based art critic and curator who was reviewed by the New York Times, Art in America, The Miami Herald, New York Arts, New York Art World, etc.
Jill Conner, a New York Editor of Whitehot Magazine and an Editor of On-Verge. She is also a contributor to Afterimage, ArtUS, Art in America, Interview Magazine, etc.
Alexandre Gertsman, a premier dealer in contemporary Russian art who curated more than 40 major museum exhibitions throughout the US, Europe, and Russia.
