TIMOTHY D’AGOSTINO is an adjunct lecturer and drawing instructor with seventeen years experience teaching fine art and design history, as well as studio and foundation drawing and design courses. He is currently on the faculty in the Art & Music Department at Borough of Manhattan Community College and Bronx Community College, where he has been teaching for the past six years.
Mr. D’Agostino is a fine artist who has spent his life dedicated to the study and practice of painting, and has exhibited nationally and internationally. He began his studies at the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven, Connecticut, and received a Bachelor of Art with concentration in studio art from Southern Connecticut State University. He studied at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, and the Istituto Lorenzo de’Medici in Florence, Italy, before receiving a Masters Degree in painting from The School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Mr. D’Agostino continues to develop his work in the city and offers his critical expertise to his many students.
